GC-MS Analysis of Chemical Constituents in Supercritical Extracts of Amomum villosum
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of supercritical CO2 extract from Amomum villosum. METHODS The volatile oil of Amomum villosum was extracted by supercritical CO2 fluid extraction, and its components were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The separated compounds were identified by computer retrieval technology. Meanwhile, the relative percentage of each component was determined by peak product normalization method. RESULTS 38 components were separated from Amomum villosum oil in Hainan and 35 of them were identified. The identified components accounted for 95.55% of the total volatile oil. The relative percentage of them was 2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl) -3,7-dimethoxy-4H-benzopyran-4-one (17.38%), cis-9-octadecenoaldehyde (7.21%), 2-undecene-10-undecanonate (6.79%), E, E, Z-1,3, Z-1,3. 12-19-triene-5,14-diol (5.97%) etc. CONCLUSION Thirty-five constituents were isolated and identified from the extracts of Amomum villosum. Their contents accounted for 95.55% of the total supercritical extraction components.
