Progress in Supercritical Fluid Extraction of Oil Products

Based on the physical properties and transfer characteristics of supercritical fluid, the unique advantages of supercritical fluid as a solvent for separation and extraction were analyzed, and the suitable substances for supercritical fluid extraction were introduced. Typical industrial applications of supercritical extraction technology in petrochemical products are summarized. The conventional deasphalting and residue supercritical extraction processes are analyzed and compared from the aspects of process flow and energy consumption, and the technical feasibility of supercritical technology for quench oil viscosity reduction is analyzed.
