Supercritical CO2 Extraction of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Oil
The optimum extraction conditions of Zanthoxylum bungeanum oil by supercritical CO2 were studied. The effects of extraction temperature, pressure and time on the extraction rate of Zanthoxylum bungeanum oil were investigated by single factor experiments, and the response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction rate. The results showed that the optimum extraction conditions of Zanthoxylum bungeanum oil were extraction temperature 42 C, extraction pressure 19.8 MPa and extraction time 90 min. Under these conditions, the average extraction rate of Zanthoxylum bungeanum oil was 16%.
