Test On Treatment Of Oil-based Drilling Cutting By Supercritical CO2 Extraction
A process of treating oil-based drilling cuttings by supercritical CO2 extraction was studied. The basic principle and process flow of the process were introduced. A test device was established. The process of treating oil-based drilling cuttings by supercritical CO2 extraction was studied in laboratory. The base oil was successfully extracted from drilling cuttings, and the lowest oil content of the treated dry cuttings was 0.13%. This shows that the process is technically feasible. According to the test results, the effects of pressure, temperature, time, water content of drilling cuttings, entrainer and other factors on the extraction efficiency are analyzed. Finally, the key parameters for industrial application of the process are recommended, which can provide reference for similar research.
