Working Process of Supercritical Fluid Extraction:

a) The liquid CO2 in the CO2 storage tank C302 is sucked and pressurized by the pressurizing pump, and into the extraction heater E402 for preheating when reaches the supercritical pressure, and then into the extractor along the pipeline. At this moment, the CO2 is in a supercritical state and has strong dissolved ability;
b) After the extraction pressure reaches the set pressure, the extraction regulator valve K01, the separator S201 regulator valve K02, and the separator S202 regulator valve K03 are all switched into the “automatic” operating mode. The CO2 that dissolves the active ingredients of the material depressurize passes through K01 into the heater E403;
c) In the separator 1 heater E403, CO2 continues to be heated, and then into separator S201;
d) In the separator S201, CO2 is heated and maintained by the hot water in its jacket. Due to factors such as pressure reduction, the dissolution rate of the active ingredient of the material is reduced. In S201, material is partially separated and precipitated in S201 bottom;
e) The dissolved CO2 of the active ingredient continues to depressurize through the KO2 into the separator 2 heater E404, heat insulation, and then into the separator S202;
f) In the separator S202, due to factors such as pressure reduction, the dissolution rate of the active ingredient of the material is further reduced and is further separated and precipitated on the bottom of separator S202. At this time, the active ingredient of the material is basically separated, and the pure CO2 pass through the KO3 into the condenser E401 due to the pressure difference;
g) In the condenser E401, CO2 is cooled to a liquid state, into the CO2 storage tank C302 following the pipeline;
h) In the CO2 storage tank C302, the hydraulic CO2 is cooled by the chilled water in the internal coil, and the liquid CO2 into the pressure pump along the pipe and into the next extraction process.
